In recent years, Laiwu Vocational and Technical College has adhered to the concepts of openness, cooperation and win-win, continuously integrated high-quality educational resources, actively built an internationalized education platform, and persistently promoted the “going global“ of vocational education. It has taken the lead in establishing the Southeast Asia Vocational Education Overseas Education Alliance and built a high-level talent training base for the China-Finland Overseas Education Center. We organized a training course for the improvement of elite teachers in preschool education between China and Finland, set up overseas study sites in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Morocco, undertook the “Chinese Bridge“ project of the Ministry of Education, and exported 3 professional standards, 22 curriculum standards, 2 vocational standards and 4 textbooks. It attracted 299 international students to come to our school for exchange and study. A total of 196 teachers have gone abroad for further study, and 14 international Chinese language teachers have been trained.

　　Next, Laiwu Vocational and Technical College will take this exchange visit as an opportunity. With the support of Shandong Youcheng Education and Cultural Exchange Center, it will build a closer “vocational education community“ with partners from the Maldives and other South Asian countries. It will enhance exchanges and deepen cooperation in areas such as talent co-cultivation, academic advancement, the construction of the Ban-Maldives College, and vocational skills training, achieving complementary advantages and mutual benefit. Jointly write a new chapter of international cooperation in vocational education and contribute the strength of Laizhou Vocational College to the construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative“.
