The event marked a new chapter in regional collaboration as Dongying and Hong Kong representatives signed strategic agreements, introduced themed tourism routes and established a mutual tourist referral mechanism.
At the event, Dongying officials highlighted the city's rich tourism resources — from the breathtaking confluence of the Yellow River and the Bohai Sea to the birthplace of Sun Tzu, the legendary philosopher and military strategist. Visitors were also introduced to Dongying's culinary delights and vibrant cultural heritage.
Key attractions such as the “international airport for migratory birds“, as well as traditional Lyu Opera, crispy pan-fried stuffed buns and innovative cultural products, offered Hong Kong attendees a refreshing view of Dongying's tourism appeal.
A cooperation agreement signed by the Dongying Bureau of Culture and Tourism aims to advance high-quality development in the cultural tourism sectors of both cities. The partnership is expected to provide more diverse and convenient travel options for their residents.
Overall, Dongying's unique ecological and cultural resources are set to become a compelling new destination for tourists from Hong Kong and Macao, further enhancing North China's tourism footprint.
