Recently, Chen Shuan from Yanya Town, along with Russian friends Anna and Yelena, Swedish friends Ada and Sofia, appeared at the campus cultural festival. The four foreign girls injected international vitality into the event with their distinct cultural characteristics. Anna is wearing a traditional “Saravan“ dress to showcase a set of painted dolls, with Siberian reindeer and Chinese peony patterns complementing each other beautifully; Yelena performed the accordion solo “Katyusha“ live, with a lively melody that attracted teachers and students to sing softly. Ada used pine branches and wool felt to set up a “forest themed“ booth, sharing the custom of weaving flower garlands during the Midsummer Festival; Sofia uses minimalist design postcards paired with Chinese calligraphy, writing “V ä nskap“ in Swedish to echo the Chinese character for “he“.
