So you have really a very rich exchange, intensive exchange with scientists, which is very important to drive research collaborations," Professor Werner Nau remarked.

　　He stated that Shandong is a remarkable province where people are very professional, deeply engaged and strongly supportive of engaging international colleagues in their research. "What has impressed me the most is the efficiency with which China is operating. Shandong Province is operating, making everything very efficient, starting with the support of long-term visas for experts, making it very easy for me to visit many times during the year. Also, the research facilities are really one of the best in the world."
