Home-made C919 starts international journey with route from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar

  Home-made C919 aircraft started an international route from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar, capital of Mongolia on Wednesday afternoon, marking the first international passenger service for the Chinese-built jet.

  In the future, the C919 will operate regularly on the Beijing-Ulaanbaatar route, according to CCTV News on Wednesday.

  To date, C919 aircraft operated by Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines have cumulatively opened 58 routes, served 26 cities, and carried over 7.5 million passengers.

  Since entering commercial service on May 28, 2023, the C919 aircraft has made appearances at overseas airshows, with participations in the Singapore Airshow twice and the Dubai Airshow once.
