Recently, the inaugural outdoor screen exhibition of intangible cultural heritage, themed "Inheritance of Craftsmanship, Renewal of Light and Shadow," was unveiled. Outdoor screens in eight core business districts across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen simultaneously showcased the national-level intangible cultural heritage — the Boshan colored glaze firing technique. Colored glaze works once hidden in exhibition halls now appeared on bustling urban streets, where their brilliant glow merged with the neon lights of the city. This breaks the boundaries of cultural transmission, bringing thousand-year-old craftsmanship into the public eye and boosting the cultural visibility of Zibo Boshan colored glaze.
